Wacky winter sport

 Hi bloggers                                                                                                                         Scarlett here.
Last Friday we started the winter sport we chose. Here are the options, Netball, Hockey, Football, Ki O Rahi, Capture the Flag, Gardening, and Bowls.  I chose Ki O Rahi it is a Moari game.  A week after Netball and Hockey trials, we were ready to take off in buses and leave, many of us went to Rawhiti Domain.
My team won our first game, I still feel proud of our success, it was also very fun .                                                                            Do you do winter sport what is it?
Bye bye.

Astounding Area

Hi there bloggers Scarlett here,
In maths this week, I learnt about area. My maths teacher cut out rectangles for us to find the area of, we also watched a video on how to work out the area. Then we started to make slides. I made one on how to find the area of a Equilateral Triangle (an Equilateral Triangle has even sides). I really enjoyed making a slide. What have you learnt from my slide?                                                                                  Do you know any more kinds of triangles?                                                                                                      Bye bye hope you enjoyed my blog!!

Brave at war

Hi bloggers
Scarlett here,
in the school  holidays it was ANZAC DAY. On Monday in literacy we started an ANZAC slide . It was interesting, my favourite activity was word art. I also read two stories, did poppy art, and created a piskel. On the last slide are ANZAC facts I found. Did you know ANZAC Day wasn’t claimed a public holiday in Australia or New Zealand until 1921?
